Partnerships and Collaborations

Canada has a complex entrepreneurial ecosystem, so we view collaboration as key to ensuring women entrepreneurs are supported coast-to-coast.

We are proud to partner with key decision makers to ensure that women entrepreneurs have a voice and that Canada is prepared to support their growth and contribution to our economy.

Improving Access to Capital with BDC

In 2018, we have partnered with BDC to help women business owners access additional financing for their business beyond the $150K loans offered by our founding members.

As a result of this partnership, women entrepreneurs may qualify for an additional $100K business loan from BDC and benefit from favourable terms when they receive at least five hours of training/advisory services from WEOC member organizations who have approved programs.

Teaching Tech with Microsoft

In 2017/18, we partnered with Microsoft to help women entrepreneurs understand evolving tech trends and give them tips and advice on using tech to grow their business. Through this partnership, Microsoft wrote a series of sponsored blogs for WEOC member organizations that focused on digital transformation, and offered a selection of complimentary training to our clients.
