Women’s Enterprise Organizations of Canada (WEOC) released the findings of its COVID-19 recovery survey of Canadian women entrepreneurs: Navigating the Road to Success: How to Support Women Entrepreneurs.

Close to 1,000 women entrepreneurs from across Canada were asked to reflect on their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic from April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021. The responses focus on five key themes. And while important in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, these themes will continue to resonate in the post-COVID economy:

  1. Optimism
  2. Pivoting, Adaptability & Resilience
  3. Gender Specific Entrepreneurial Support
  4. Financial Support
  5. Digitization
