Capital reaching women-owned businesses across Canada
The WEOC National Loan Program connects women entrepreneurs with developmental financing and trusted regional business support. The figures below reflect cumulative program activity as of septembre 22, 2026.
Why cumulative financing can exceed the original allocation: As entrepreneurs repay principal, that capital returns to the Fund and can be lent again. This revolving structure extends the impact of the original public investment to future entrepreneurs.

A revolving public investment
How the Fund works
The funding provided to WEOC is loan capital. It is delivered to eligible women-owned businesses through repayable developmental loans of up to $50,000.
Capital is deployed
WEOC provides repayable financing to eligible women entrepreneurs through a national network of regional Loan Fund Partners.
Businesses build and grow
Entrepreneurs use the financing for eligible business needs while receiving advising, mentorship, training and market support.
Repayments support the next entrepreneur
As principal is repaid, it returns to the Fund and becomes available to finance additional women-owned businesses.
Beyond financing
Capital connected to trusted support
Women entrepreneurs receive more than financing. WEOC works with regional women’s enterprise organizations that understand their local business communities and help entrepreneurs prepare, strengthen and grow.
- Business advising
